West wrestlers putting in the pre-season work!
Keep getting mat time West!
See you Tuesday at practice.
Pre-Season wrestling kicking off strong for West. This weekend, twenty of our Downingtown wrestlers showed to put in work at The Spooky Nook for the NAWE Waterway Duals, competing across various teams: high school, club teams, and the girls in the inaugural Girls Waterway Dual. This time of year, it’s all about showing up and getting that mat time.
Keep grinding, Downingtown!
The countdown to the season has begun, and we cant wait!
A big shoutout to our wrestlers for their hard work, and to Coach Breese, who consistently provides opportunities for our athletes to grow and is always on the corner.

Another girls wrestling night in the calendar!!!
Help spread the word.
All ages. All experiences welcome and encouraged.
“Wrestling benefits female athletes in a myriad of ways, instilling within them: confidence, grit, resilience, mental toughness, self-esteem, self-reliance, and discipline. Wrestling also encourages physical fitness, teaches basic self-defense, and provides a family of wrestlers.” -Wrestle Like A Girl

Closing out 2025 Nationals was Levi Richmond in his last Fargo run before heading on to the next level. Levi wrestled both Freestyle and Greco for a third summer. Levi stepped out of Freestyle early due to a knee injury during his second match but rested up for a solid run in Greco finishing out in Day two with a 3-2 record.
Excited to see what the next chapter holds for Levi as he heads to West Liberty University to wrestling in their D2 program.
We are proud of Levi and the dedication he gives to the sport!
Best of Luck Levi!
