We eagerly celebrated the 2024-25 wrestling season alongside our dedicated coaches, talented wrestlers, and supportive families. Our banquet night is always a highly anticipated event, where we come together to reminisce about the season, enjoy a delicious dinner, and honor our athletes with awards and recognitions. The night wouldn't be complete without our exciting raffles and heartfelt acknowledgments of everyone's hard work and dedication.

The wrestling community at West has a rich history of strong support and camaraderie. We take pride in nurturing our athletes from Thunder and DMS as they transition into becoming Whippets. For many years, our banquet has included our DMS team, inspiring other teams to adopt this practice, recognizing the significance of the wrestling community we've created. We are immensely proud to have our 7th and 8th grade wrestlers join us as we honor the achievements of all our competitors.

Wrestling is a unique sport that requires immense strength, discipline, and perseverance, and each of our wrestlers should be incredibly proud of their personal achievements throughout the season. To the parents, we extend our deepest gratitude for your unwavering support of your children, our teams, the coaches, and the booster club. Your commitment is invaluable.

We took the opportunity to recognize our senior wrestlers; Sienna Landrum, Levi Richmond, Chase Sigle and Anno Von Heimburg, celebrating their invaluable contributions to our teams over the years, along with their many successes and memorable stories. We wish them the very best as they embark on their next chapters in life.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to our dedicated coaches, who pour their passion and expertise into our wrestlers not just during the season, but all year long. We are truly fortunate to have such a vibrant and supportive wrestling community.
